Create an original fire pit design for a chance to win $500 plus a carved fire pit featuring your winning artwork. The selected design will also join our collection and be available for purchase in 2027.

HOW TO ENTER
Creating your entry is easy. Download the worksheet, draw your original design and send it to us before the deadline.
1. DOWNLOAD
Download and print the official fire pit design worksheet, or pick one up at our Bala Cranberry Festival booth.
2. CREATE
Draw your original design inside the provided space. You don’t need to be a professional artist—we’re looking for a creative idea!
3. SUBMIT
Email a clear photo or scan to orders@muskokafirepits.com, or submit your completed worksheet at our festival booth.
WHAT MAKES A GREAT FIRE PIT DESIGN?
Your drawing doesn’t need to be perfect. We’re looking for a creative idea that can be transformed into a steel fire pit design.
• Use bold, recognizable shapes and silhouettes.
• Create a design that can flow or repeat around the fire pit.
• Keep the important parts of your artwork connected.
• Avoid shading, extremely thin lines and very small details.
• Use dark pencil or black marker so your design is easy to see.
• Submit only original artwork created by you.
Think Muskoka, wildlife, cottage life, outdoor adventures—or surprise us with something completely different!
SUBMIT YOUR FINISHED DESIGN
Take a clear, well-lit photo or scan of your completed worksheet and email it to orders@muskokafirepits.com with the subject line “Fire Pit Design Contest Entry.”
You can also submit your completed worksheet in person at the Muskoka Fire Pits booth during the Bala Cranberry Festival.
All entries must be received by Sunday, October 25, 2026.
IMPORTANT: Before submitting your entry, please read the Official Contest Rules below. By submitting a design, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the rules and that the submitted artwork is your own original work.
Entrants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Please review all contest rules before submitting your design. Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these Official Contest Rules.
Eligibility
The contest is open to individuals of all ages and locations. Entrants under 18 years of age must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. If an entrant under 18 is selected as the winner, their parent or legal guardian must approve the use of the design and accept the prize on their behalf.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
How to Enter
Download and complete the official contest worksheet or create your design using the worksheet provided at the Muskoka Fire Pits booth during the Bala Cranberry Festival.
Entries may be submitted by emailing a clear photo or scan to orders@muskokafirepits.com or by submitting the completed worksheet at our festival booth.
Email submissions should use the subject line “Fire Pit Design Contest Entry” and include the entrant’s full name, email address and telephone number.
Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 25, 2026.
Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these Official Contest Rules.
Multiple Entries
Entrants may submit more than one design. Each design must be submitted as a separate, complete entry.
This is a judged design contest, not a random draw. Submitting multiple designs does not provide additional chances of winning. Each design will be evaluated individually.
Design Requirements
Each submission must be the entrant’s own original work.
Entries must not include copyrighted characters, trademarks, business logos or artwork belonging to another person or organization.
Designs should be suitable for adaptation into a cut-steel fire pit design. Muskoka Fire Pits Inc. may modify, simplify or adjust the selected artwork as required for manufacturing, safety and production.
Winner Selection
One winning design will be selected by Muskoka Fire Pits Inc. based on creativity, originality, commercial appeal and suitability for manufacturing as a steel fire pit.
The winner will be contacted using the email address or telephone number provided with their entry. The winning design will also be announced through the Muskoka Fire Pits social media pages.
If the selected winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within seven days, Muskoka Fire Pits Inc. may select another winning design.
The Prize
One winner will receive:
• A $500 cash prize; and
• One Standard-size Muskoka Fire Pit featuring the selected design, including standard carbon-steel mesh and a black painted finish.
Custom engraving, personalized lettering and other upgrades are not included and may be purchased separately.
The prize cannot be exchanged for another product or redeemed for its cash value.
Approximate total prize value: $1,400 CAD.
Pickup, Delivery, Shipping
The completed fire pit may be picked up free of charge from Muskoka Fire Pits in Torrance, Ontario.
Local delivery may be available within approximately 400 kilometres of Torrance. Any applicable delivery charges will be confirmed with the winner before delivery is arranged.
Winners outside the local delivery area are responsible for all shipping costs based on courier rates available at the time of shipment. The winner is also responsible for any applicable customs charges, duties, taxes or import fees.
If the winner is unable or unwilling to arrange pickup, delivery or shipping, the physical fire pit portion of the prize may be forfeited.
Use of the Winning Design
By accepting the prize, the winner grants Muskoka Fire Pits Inc. the perpetual right to adapt, reproduce, manufacture, advertise, display and sell products featuring the selected design.
The winner understands that the artwork may be modified for manufacturing and that no additional royalties or payments will be provided beyond the stated contest prize.
Non-winning designs will not be manufactured or sold by Muskoka Fire Pits Inc. without separate permission from the entrant.
General Conditions
Muskoka Fire Pits Inc. reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, illegible, inappropriate or non-original entries.
Muskoka Fire Pits Inc. may cancel, modify or suspend the contest if circumstances beyond its reasonable control prevent the contest from being conducted as planned.
This contest is operated by Muskoka Fire Pits Inc. and is not sponsored, administered or endorsed by the Bala Cranberry Festival, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or their respective owners.
